Oral Cancer Walk NYC
​​On April 29, 2018, Bella Smile Dental will be participating on the Oral Cancer Walk NYC event. We will be walking to help raise awareness about this disease that has killed an average of 7,000 american men and women each year. By detecting the illness early, Oral cancer can be easily treated.

We are happy to have a growing number of pediatric patients. Our Doctors and staff really enjoy the visit of children to the office, trying to make them as entertaining and rewarding for them as possible. We also love to promote literacy in our community of Jackson Heights. Children in this community are eager and very receptive to learning and we want to help them in a small way. We love when our young patients come down from our chairs not only with a healthy smile but with a love for reading. In addition to their dental rewards ( toothbrush, etc) our pediatric patients get the gift of a book every time they come in to their visits. We started doing this last year and it has been a success so far. Children remember that at the dentist they are always going to get a really nice prize as well as a book to read. Many times our young patients even walk straight to the book area instead of going to the treatment area, which says a lot to us about how much they love our books. We love this idea and we want to continue to provide this to our every pediatric patient. Most of the books we give out to our patients are provided by Bella Smile Dental, and some have been donated by some very kind patients. We would like to inform and include all of our new Facebook friends and patients to help us in this cause. If you wish to help and can donate books to us feel free to do so, we are very thankful to all the patients that have been kind to donate books in very good condition to our office. So, if you have books that you are not using please let us know if you would like to help us out. You will be providing this for the community not for Bella Smile Dental.
