Silver fillings used to be your only choice, but today we can use one of the new strong white synthetic resins, or porcelain that look much more natural. Since these materials are bonded to the teeth, they're very strong and durable. We want you to be very comfortable for the procedure, so the first thing we do is make sure the area is thoroughly numb. At this point, we remove the decay and shape the tooth with an instrument. We then use a gel to chemically prepare the tooth for the resin. After which, resin is placed in the tooth. Once completed we use a special light to hardent the resin. Once the filling is set, we then smooth and polish it. Once we check everything, you're all set with your own "Bella Smile."
